Acting professionally will be the daily lifestyle of a qualified architect. Timelines is an important aspect of professionalism. Projects must be completed on time. Delays will end up costing a client dearly. A professional who has a history of delays will lose many clients. That will affect the bottom line of his business. Acting courteously is crucial.

Passion is a core skill. Someone who is not passionate will not reach very far in his professional career. Passion should come before everything else. One should only pursue architecture if he is passionate about this line of work. A passionate person will do everything to succeed. He will always go the extra mile that is required for success.

Some architects learned architecture through apprenticeship. However, most modern day professionals are usually schooled in colleges and universities before they practice architecture. There are diplomas and degrees in architecture. A degree is becoming a must have in most professions. A graduate can decide to pursue further studies to perfect his skills. He can pursue a postgraduate degree in architecture.
