Multiple mediums mean that the information is disseminated more quickly and has more chances to reach the intended target. There are various technologies that can reach a multiple at the touch of a button, like emails and short messaging systems.

Once the crisis is over and dealt with, there needs to be a post-crisis analysis, where a formal analysis should be done to assess what went wrong, and how to prevent such a thing from occurring in the future. If in any event the formal analysis is not possible, an in-house brainstorming session maybe adequate to assess what the organization can learn from the crisis management. It is prudent to partner up with a crisis management firm as they have the know-how on conducting the whole crisis communication process.

Eventually the presence and readiness of an effective crisis management team can never be overemphasized as it is safer to be prepared. It shelters business interactions between organizations. It also avails an innocuous business progression as investors and stakeholders have total confidence in the organization's output and abilities to manage crisis and carry important and involved parties along while at it.
